East Bay Open Houses 1/28 & 29
The economy seems to be on it's way back, which is good news for housing. The bond and jobs market reports have given us good news. When bonds increase, so do mortgage backed secruities, which send mortgage rates down. Mortgage rates have actually dropped slightly over the last few weeks. In addition, more inventory is popping up. That gives smart buyers a particularly good opportunity to buy right now, when competition is less. Market values continue to hold in our market, so buying now and refinancing when rates drop again is the smart move. It all starts with finding the right new home.
Here are this weekend's list of open houses, catergorized by city. If you are unable to make it to an open house, just call me and I can arrange a private showing for you on any home on the market. I can also get you more detail about the house - inspection reports, condition, when offers are due, and what the likely sale price might be. I can also help you strategize a winning offer, like I've been doing for clients for almost 20 years.
Happy House Hunting!
